Biology: The Study of Life

On the first day of class we discussed the Scientific Method.
1. Observation
2. Hypothesis
3. Data Collection
4. Theory
5. Law

We also went over the 4 criteria for life.
1. All life has DNA.
2. All living things have a system for converting and using energy (Metabolism).
3. All organisms Respond to their Environment.
4. All living creatures Reproduce.












From there we expanded on Metabolism and focused on the 3 categories that all living things fall into.


1. Producers



2. Consumers



3. Decomposers
